The iconic curves of the Intensive Repairing Creme have been reinvented.
For the first time in the history of Dior skincare, the compass rose adds the finishing touch to the jar with its inimitable stamp. This Dior emblem laden with meaning carries a threefold symbolism:
The compass rose is a direct analogy for the wild rose, the ancestor of the Rose de Granville, shaped by the maritime winds. It also evokes the Villa Les Rhumbs, where it adorns the floor and atrium. Lastly, it represents the symbol of a compass, which guided sailors in the past and which now shows women the way towards eternal youth.

A major optimization of the product weight
The Intensive Repairing Creme has been redesigned in a global eco-design approach. The weight of the entire product has been reduced by 20% thanks to a streamlined design and a glass weight which is 32% lighter. The refill also follows in this dynamic with its total weight reduced by 48%.

A progressive transition to greener materials
The use of recycled and technically recyclable materials was a priority during product development, as glass and cardboard represent 83% of the entire packaging. Changing from hot-stamped gold metallic marking to black organic ink-based printing optimizes the recyclability of the glass jars, while limiting the impact of the printing process. Meanwhile, the La Crème box is composed of 100% recycled cardboard and FSC^TMpaper.
The paper leaflet has been removed and replaced by a QR Code.

A more virtuous refill system
For this new launch, the refill system has been optimized and minimized to the extreme.
It thereby enables the CO₂ footprint to be reduced by almost 50% from the first refill, and by more than 70% from the third, when compared to the purchase of the entire product. This approach is part of the trajectory of Dior’s commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
